What days of the week do you deliver flowers?
We deliver from Monday to Saturday. Sunday delivery is not available.

Dunedin City Council covers the central city, coastal settlements, rural country and communities well beyond the continuous urban streets. Its six community boards represent Mosgiel-Taieri, Otago Peninsula, Saddle Hill, Strath Taieri, Waikouaiti Coast and West Harbour, but they do not divide every part of the urban core into six exhaustive districts. For an order, keep the recipient’s actual suburb or settlement and postcode. Mosgiel, Port Chalmers and a central Dunedin address should not be flattened into one generic locality. The council boundary explains the scale of the city, while the postal address identifies the destination the florist must reach.
Dunedin’s steep streets and divided properties can make the final approach less obvious than the map suggests. Include the flat or unit, house-number suffix, driveway instruction and entrance used by the recipient. A property name is helpful only when paired with the official street address. In student accommodation, state the residential building and room detail when that is part of the address, and avoid sending to a faculty office unless it has agreed to receive the gift. For rural or coastal addresses inside the council area, copy the locality exactly and provide a telephone number that can clarify gates or unfamiliar access.
Dunedin Hospital is at 201 Great King Street and contains multiple services rather than one universal receiving desk. Before placing a bedside order, confirm the patient’s registered name, ward and room if known, and ask about current restrictions for that clinical area. The official health source confirms the hospital address but not flower acceptance throughout the building. An outpatient appointment may finish before a courier arrives, so a clinic name is not enough. If flowers or plants are unsuitable, choose an available non-floral gift or arrange delivery to the recipient’s home once the correct date and address are known.
Central Dunedin’s education precinct contains many separate buildings, residences and employers. A broad campus label cannot guide a handover, so add the institution, building, department and recipient’s local contact. Graduation events may use a venue away from the recipient’s everyday faculty; follow the ceremony information supplied by the graduate. For offices, identify the business and a colleague or reception that will be staffed. Shift work and hybrid schedules can make a daytime desk unreliable. A useful note tells the florist where the recipient will actually be, without turning a preferred time into an assurance of exact arrival.
For a hotel guest, enter the reservation name, arrival date, hotel name and full street address. Ask whether the property will hold flowers before check-in, particularly when the guest is travelling through rather than staying several nights. At a home gathering, send to the host or another person who can bring the arrangement indoors promptly. A bouquet suits a personal milestone, while chocolates or a basket can be shared after a graduation, reunion or family meal. Add style and colour preferences, but choose from products available for the address and date rather than assuming a particular imported or seasonal flower.
Dunedin City Council administers twenty cemeteries and one crematorium across its extensive territory. Urban sites include Andersons Bay, Southern and Northern cemeteries, alongside many rural locations. That distribution makes the exact site, service and receiving contact essential for a tribute. Ask the family or funeral director whether flowers belong at a chapel, funeral home, place of worship, cemetery or private residence. Include the deceased or family name and ceremony time. Council administration does not mean that every site uses the same entrance or accepts courier handovers in the same way, so follow the organiser’s confirmed instructions. Ask for that information before choosing the tribute.
